$73 billion in the first half of the year—— Steady growth of foreign capital utilization

According to a recent report released by the United Nations Conference on Trade and development, in the first half of 2019, China attracted 73 billion US dollars of foreign capital, an increase of 4% over the same period last year, and China continues to become the second largest foreign capital inflow country and the largest developing economy in the world. Will China continue to attract foreign capital in the future?

"In the future, the scale of foreign investment will continue to expand." Tu Xinquan said that in recent years, China has actively expanded the opening up of foreign investment, made efforts to improve the business environment, and fully implemented the national treatment for foreign-invested enterprises, especially in the service sector, which was relatively cautious in opening up in the past, the intensity of opening has increased significantly in recent years. Recently, the World Bank released the global business environment report 2020, and China's state-owned business environment ranked among the top 40 in the world. For two consecutive years, it was listed as the top ten economies with the largest improvement in the global business environment. This is a vote of confidence in China's reform and opening up and economic prospects.

Sang Baichuan, president of the Institute of International Economy of the University of international business and economic cooperation, also believes that China's complete industrial supporting capacity, huge market scale, continuous improvement of the intellectual property protection system, and a stable economic system seeking transformation and upgrading and high-quality development will certainly have a strong attraction for foreign investment, and foreign investors will have a long-term prospect of investment in China.
